This is my class on fun run day we all really enjoyed dressing up and doing the run with our friends from are class and some from other class rooms I really enjoyed my first FUN RUN!!!!!!!

FUN RUN 2013

This year T.I.S. has had yet another successful fun run. All of he classes had a very unique theme to dress up as and the majority went all out with their costumes. In room 10 we dressed as nerds... Crazy uneducated unattractive, Nerds. It was crack up seeing all of the costumes and it was also very enjoyable going around at interval seeing other classes goofy themes. All of us had a great day and really enjoyed the run. Some people did 6 laps (which was the minimum) and others would do 12 or 13!
Overall all of us had a great day and my class raised over $1000!!!

                                    

Room 10 and 12 went to the Tawa Library

Because at school there is no school  library, both rooms 10 and 12 went to the Tawa library
last Thursday. We walked down in the lovely sun. When we where at the  library a man called Justin told us all about the library ,most of us got some books out but you had to say your first and last name to get a book issued. Then we walked back. Man it was great time.!

In 2013 we have moved to room 10, so it's time to re-launch our blog. Here you will find a window into our classroom. There will be lots of content added by the students. It has been a great start to the year and I'll start with an image of our fun team building we have been doing.

Taekondo in Huia

Every Mondays and Fridays, Huia is doing Taekwondo. We are learning how to defend ourselves if we ever get into a fight. We are learning different kicks, like the snap kick, flying kick and the downward kick.  The teachers are also teaching us the language of taekwondo.
